In 2019, my team took on the ambitious task of redefining the digital & social strategy for Bloomingdale’s. We had been working with the brand for four years at that point, and had perfected the social aesthetic necessary to fit in with style culture. But, we knew that the power in fashion was shifting from brands to stylists & influencers, and wanted to find a way in.
Our solution was Studio59 - a content studio built in iconic Bloomingdale’s on 59th Street. The space became the home for 7 “series” as we enlisted collaborators such as known stylists and influencers to turn the store into a playground for content. The resulting creations were posted not just on social, but also in e-mail, .Com, and more.
